Multi-Jurisdiction Racing License Owner's Application

As a racehorse or greyhound owner who may wish to participate in several different racing jurisdictions, you are eligible to apply for multi-jurisdiction license privileges through the RCI Multi-Jurisdiction Licensing Program.

This form is only for those owners who will not be applying for any other type of license (ie, trainer, driver, etc.) If you will be applying for another type of license, please contact those jurisdictions for an application.

Some racing commissions may require additional information from you. If so, you will be contacted by that commission and requested to submit addendum to this form.

Application For Stable Name

Certify that you are now licensed in West Virginia as an OWNER, and have read, understand and agree to abide by the West Virginia Rules of Racing concerning Stable Names.

Thoroughbred License

Pledging to observe and obey the rules, regulations and conditions of the West Virginia Racing Commission.

Authorized Agent Appointment

To act as my true and lawful attorney for me and in my name, place and stead to endorse checks made payable to me from the association racing under the jurisdiction of the West Virginia Racing Commission for the payment of moneys due me from stakes of purses earned by me; and to direct the transfer of any funds standing to my credit with the racing associations under the jurisdiction of the West Virginia Racing Commission.

Cuff Bill of Sale

Guarantees the horse to be free and clear of all encumbrances unless otherwise stated herein. Should this animal be sold, claimed or otherwise change hands, any balance due is payable immediately. The horse is not to be used for breeding purposes without the consent of the seller.

Lease Agreement

[you] lease the racing qualities of the horse ... in the event the horse indicated is claimed during an effective period of the lease, the lessor shall receive % and the lessee % of the claiming price.
